It was a #bittersweet day. We always have a day to deliver treats, sweets and gifts to the kids at the Esther House ( and for those away at boarding school.) This year we had the privilege of giving out ziploc bags filled with goodies from the Awana kids @ The Rock and blankets from Esther's friends in the US. Tears shed (by all of us, especially me😢) What a tremendous blessing to Esther's friends in Kenya from Esther's friends in the US. Thank you to everyone who participated! 💜love sent to Kenya and 💜 love returned. — with Laura Ruhrwien Parli, Vica Ru, Katie Ruhrwien and Katie Isenberg Robinson.
Bag Alert! The bag collection for ladies in Shalpogh and Kiwawa, Kenya resulted in over 600 bags collected and distributed. You could say they were more than a little excited. A big thank you to everyone who participated - you were part of a tremendous blessing to women over 9,000 miles away. — with Laura Ruhrwien Parli, Katie Ruhrwienand Vica Ru.

What a blessing today to meet with the people of Kiwawa, Kenya. We loved spending time with them and let me tell you, these people know how to dance and praise the Lord...
It's great seeing Joan again. And this is how we do baptisms... 41 men, women and children in the river!
